He had 6 months of tracking in it, calendars drawn by hand with a ruler, and it honestly looked better than my $30 Leuchtturm. Do any of you actually prefer plain ruled or graph paper over dot grid, or am I about to make a dumb switch?
or am I about to make a dumb switch" is honestly the most relatable thing I've read today, because I once bought a $40 notebook to organize my life and then wrote "buy more notebooks" on page one. So maybe don't ask me for advice. But yeah, hand drawn calendars with a ruler in a 99 cent book sounds like the guy just had good handwriting and a system, and the paper was probably fine the whole time. Idk, dot grid is nice but graph paper does the same job for like a third of the price and you can actually find it at any store. Worst case you're out a buck, so it's a pretty cheap experiment.
