Just realized the 2 liter bottle in my shower is not a plumber's trick, it's just my wife's weird watering can
I spent 3 weeks telling anyone who'd listen about my genius $0 fix for low water pressure until she walked in and asked why I was showering next to her plant setup, so now I need to know if anyone has an actual cheap trick that is not just me being clueless.
Wait, why do you even need a plumber's trick for low shower pressure? Tbh that sounds like the kind of thing where you just take the shower head off and soak it in vinegar overnight to clear the hard water gunk out of the little holes. That's like two bucks for a bottle of vinegar and it actually works most of the time. Also check if there's a flow restrictor inside the head, some of them just pop out with a screwdriver and suddenly you got real pressure. Honestly the whole 2 liter bottle thing sounds like it was never doing anything anyway, you were just showering next to a plant and feeling good about it. Not trying to be a jerk but this seems like a pretty small problem to lose sleep over, just clean the head and move on.
