Frozen veggie bags beat fresh for my meal prep budget

I tracked my grocery spending for 2 months in Columbus and realized I was tossing about $30 of sad, wilted produce every week. Switched to frozen broccoli, peas, and spinach and the difference showed in my bank account by week 3. The texture is totally fine once you roast them or throw them in soups, and they actually hold up better than the fresh stuff I was babying. My electric bill even dropped a bit since I stopped running the fridge full of dying greens. Anyone else find frozen staples cut their food waste way down?
