Question about the weird tin I bought at a garage sale in Tulsa just for the lid
Stopped at a garage sale near Admiral and Sheridan in Tulsa last Saturday and paid $2 for a rusty 1950s Band-Aid tin because the lid had a cartoon nurse on it. The box itself held old buttons and a weird screwdriver bit, but I realized I only wanted it for that little smiling nurse graphic. Has anyone else bought something just for the art on the package and then felt kind of bad about tossing the stuff inside?

Man, why feel bad about tossing buttons and a random screwdriver bit? A rusty tin full of junk is just junk, and keeping stuff you don't want just because it came with the thing you actually bought is how people end up with houses packed floor to ceiling with crap. The nurse art was the whole point of your two bucks, so toss the rest and enjoy your cool lid.
