Bought a $6 jar of pickles at a Slovak market in Chicago just for the glass lid with the little metal clasp
I was walking through the Polish corridor near Division and Milwaukee last Saturday and saw this dusty jar of pickles sitting on a shelf at a little European deli. The label said Zelka and it had a wire bail lid with a rubber gasket, and I paid $6 just to take the jar home and dump the pickles in the trash. Now I have four of these jars holding screws and paper clips, so what weird packaging have you guys kept around way longer than the actual product?
