Crossed 500,000 visits on my site about barn roof angles and now I'm debating if that's a weird flex or a real achievement
One buddy says hitting that number means I've built something useful for people looking up obscure metal specs, but my other friend thinks it just proves there's a whole corner of the internet obsessed with the most boring measurements ever, so which side is right?

I mean, a year ago I probably would have been on your buddy's side honestly. I used to think niche content like barn roof angles was just too specific to really matter to anyone. But then I was fixing up my own little shed and ended up on a site about roof pitch calculations for like two hours because the info was actually super helpful and not something you just find anywhere. So hitting half a million visits tells me you're filling a real gap, not just being boring. That's a legit achievement in my book.

Agreed... I fell down a rabbit hole once trying to figure out the best way to dry a pair of boots after a rainy hike. Ended up reading some guy's blog about boot dryer designs for an hour. It's those weirdly specific topics that don't show up in a normal Google search that really hook you, you know...
