Yearly pressure vessel recertification is just a paperwork circus.

It does nothing to improve actual job safety.

Have you considered that the paperwork forces people to check things they might otherwise skip? It creates a SYSTEM that catches small problems before they blow up, literally.

Ugh, it sounds good but in actual practice it just slows everything down.
