Shoutout to the guy who taught me how to store board games vertically

Last month at a local game store in Austin, a random player showed me how to stack my boxes on their side so they don't crush each other. It freed up about 2 feet of shelf space in my closet. Has anyone else tried this with heavier games like Gloomhaven without risking the inserts?

Works great with my copy of Gloomhaven" - yeah, no kidding. I actually tried this with my copy of Gloomhaven and the insert totally held up fine. The trick is making sure the boxes are packed tight enough so nothing shifts around when you stack them on their sides. I also put a piece of cardboard between the bigger boxes just to be safe. Saved me a ton of space in my closet too.
