At a Tuesday game night, a friend pointed out I was fudging my dice results, not on purpose, but from memory gaps in a long Gloomhaven session. I started jotting down each roll and outcome on a notepad, and it honestly revealed two house rules I had wrong for months. Has anyone else had their table call them out and adjust how you track the game?

We had the same thing happen with our Pathfinder group over initiative tracking. Turns out I was rolling a d10 instead of a d20 for enemy turns without realizing it for like three sessions. Started using a simple score sheet and a pencil, nothing fancy, and it fixed the whole thing. Now if someone questions a roll I can just point to the paper and show them.
