Hosted my first big game night, but saw a player sneak an extra move...

I finally got my friends together for a big board game session last weekend... During the game, I saw someone take an extra turn when no one was looking, and I didn't say anything to avoid ruining the mood. Should I have called them out, or was keeping the peace the right move?
