Got burned at the Toledo game store demo day, so check your rulebooks before you buy
I was at Dragon's Roost on Secor Road for their demo day back in March and a guy teaching a new worker placement game skipped the whole end game scoring section. We played 2 hours thinking I was winning and he counted up at the end and I finished dead last by 40 points. Now I read the whole rulebook myself before sitting down at any demo table, even if the teacher seems to know their stuff. Anyone else run into demo hosts who skip rules, and do you say something or just play it out?
