Shoutout to the micro-blog running out of a guy's garage in Tacoma, and the question of whether tiny blogs even want readers
I was poking around looking at old house blogs and found one called Rainy Porch Notes, a guy in Tacoma who posts maybe once every 3 weeks about fixing up a 1920s bungalow. He has no comments turned on and no email signup, just a plain page with 40-something posts. So here's my debate: is a blog like that better off staying small and quiet, or should he be trying to get it in front of more people? Part of me thinks the whole point is that nobody reads it, but the other part thinks a guy writing that well about door hardware deserves an audience. Where do you all land on this?
