Got yelled at by a librarian for reshelving books wrong in 2019 and I still think about it

I was volunteering at the tiny public library in Sedona and shelved a graphic novel in the wrong section by accident. The head librarian spotted it and gave me a 10 minute lecture on the Dewey system, now I triple check every spine label I touch. Has anyone else had a random stranger's correction completely change how you do something simple?

Three years ago a guy at the coffee shop told me I was folding the pour-over filter wrong and now I literally watch a YouTube tutorial every single morning before I make it. Makes me wonder how many other small mistakes we're all walking around making without knowing.

@emeryn83 that filter thing hit home for me. Got roasted by some random guy at a climbing gym for tying my figure eight knot wrong and now I triple check every loop like my life depends on it lol. Librarians and climbers are scary good at calling out small stuff that actually matters.
