Can we talk about how I wasted $47 on a 'vintage' blog directory from 2009 that only lists dead GeoCities pages?

I paid $47 last week for a PDF called 'The Lost Blog Index' that promised 300 hidden blogs. I opened it and 80 percent of the links go to a parking page or a 404. The guy who sold it replied to my email with 'that's the point, they're lost.' I lost the $47 and about 6 hours clicking through junk. Has anyone else bought a blog list like this and actually found one that worked?
