Finally got my forge to hold a steady 2100 degrees for a full hour

Last week in my backyard shop, after three months of messing with the air intake and the gas jet, I hit that sweet spot. It was the first time I could really trust the heat for a whole project without having to stop and adjust things. Anyone else have a trick for keeping a propane forge's temp rock solid?

Nice! I read a forum post where a guy swore by adding a second pressure gauge right after his regulator. He said watching both the tank pressure and the line pressure helped him spot a drop way earlier, so he could tweak the valve before the temp swung.

That's actually a pretty smart hack. Might try that myself.
