Our weekly watch party fell apart over one missing remote and 6 people just sat there
We had a standing Thursday night thing for 3 years, same 6 people, same couch rotation. Last month the remote for the Roku went missing and nobody could cast from their phone because the wifi password was taped to the back of the old one. So we sat in silence for 20 minutes until my buddy Dave just pulled up a show on his laptop and we all crowded around a 13 inch screen. Feels like we used to fix stuff like that in 2 minutes back in the DVD days, now everything needs an app and an account. What do you all do when the tech dies mid marathon, do you bail or tough it out?
