Thought I was a bookmark wizard for 3 years till I opened my own archive and saw 4,000 dead links
I used to save everything I found into one giant folder called "read later" and felt like a genius for it. Then last week my buddy asked me to pull up a study I sent him in 2021 and the page was gone, 404, no trace. I ran a link checker and found that 4,000 out of my 6,200 saved links were dead. Turns out I had been hoarding links instead of actually reading or archiving them. Now I want to know how you all keep your saved stuff from rotting, do you screenshot, use a read later app, or just let it go?
