Spent 2 weeks comparing 40 RSS feeds to 3 curated email lists and the winner was not close
I got tired of opening 40 tabs every Monday morning so I tried something different for two weeks straight. Week one I did my normal thing, hitting every blog and news site I bookmarked back in 2019, and by Wednesday I had 11 tabs still open and zero idea what I actually read. Week two I switched to just three hand picked email lists from people who clearly read way more than me, and I finished my coffee while actually reading instead of scrolling past headlines. The lists caught 90 percent of what mattered and skipped all the press release junk. Anyone else find that fewer sources beats a bigger pile, or am I just lazy now?
