Why does nobody talk about keeping a $10 label maker instead of a phone app for labeling cords
I used to take pictures of every cable tag with my phone because I thought an app would be easier to search later, but last month I dug out a $10 Dymo label maker I got at a flea market in Toledo back in 2019 and it completely changed my mind. The phone photos are buried somewhere in 4,000 camera roll shots, while the little plastic strips stuck right on the plug are still readable two moves later. I just wish I had tried this sooner instead of wasting a whole Saturday last winter zooming in on blurry photos of a router plug. Has anyone found a label tape that actually stays stuck to a braided USB cord?
