Bought a $2 cassette adapter at a flea market in Tulsa and it fixed my car's broken aux port
My 2004 Honda Civic's aux jack quit working about 6 months ago, and I was just living with silence on my 40 minute commute to work. I found a cassette adapter for $2 at a flea market in Tulsa last month, mostly as a joke, and plugged it into the tape deck that I hadn't touched since high school. The sound is honestly a little muddy, but it works every single time with zero fuss, unlike the Bluetooth FM transmitter I wasted $25 on that always cut out near the airport. Now I'm wondering if I should just lean into it and start hunting for actual tapes again. Has anyone else gone back to a format they thought was dead and found it weirdly reliable?
