Just hit 500 straight hours of cutting without nicking a single ear lobe

lol been tracking it on a whiteboard in my shop, never thought I'd get past 300 but here we are. Anyone else keep weird stats like this or am I the only one?

That's like saying you drove 50,000 miles without ever hitting a pothole. Either you're cutting the slowest haircuts in history or you're fudging the numbers. Real barbers know that nicks happen, it's part of the job. You're not better at cutting hair just because you didn't hit someone, you're just lucky or you're doing such basic, boring cuts that there's no risk. You're bragging about being careful, not about being skilled.
