Had a client pass out in my chair during a hot towel shave

I was working at my shop in Austin, giving a regular his usual straight razor shave. I had just put the second hot towel on his face when he went completely limp and started sliding down. I caught him before he hit the floor and yelled for my other barber to call 911. Turns out he hadn't eaten all day and the heat got to him. Has anyone else had a client faint, and what's your first move?

My uncle ran a shop for thirty years and always said fainting was just drama. I used to roll my eyes at that. Then I saw a guy go down hard during a beard trim, just from locking his knees. The sound his head made on the tile floor... it changes you. Now I keep a stool nearby to prop up anyone who looks pale. Why take the chance, you know?

Read a story where a barber kept smelling salts handy for this exact reason.
