A customer said my fades were uneven on the left side
Last Tuesday a regular named Mike told me his left side was darker than the right after I finished his cut. I went back and fixed it, but it made me realize I lean awkwardly when I fade around the ear. Has anyone else had to adjust their stance or mirror position to keep cuts more balanced?

Have you tried moving your chair or mirror instead of leaning? I put a small floor mirror to my left and it helped a ton with my angle on those tricky ear spots. Just a few inches made all the difference for me, no more leaning like a broken crane lol.

Been there with the broken crane pose. I once caught myself balanced on one foot with my elbow on my knee trying to get at a spot behind my ear, and my wife walked in and asked if I was doing some kind of interpretive dance. The floor mirror trick is gold though. I shoved one of those cheapo full length mirrors from Target between my desk and the wall and it fixed like 80% of my neck pain. Only downside is now I see how stressed out I look while I'm trimming, which is its own problem.
