My soldering iron melted the plastic clip on my truck's blend door actuator, so now I keep pliers in the glovebox
Last Thursday I tried to fix the AC in my 2009 Ranger in my driveway in Salem because the heat only blew out the passenger side, and I figured the actuator was the cheap part to replace. About two minutes in, the tip slipped off the screw head and went straight through the plastic tab, so I zip-tied the arm in place and ran it that way for 3 days until the new part showed up. Does anyone else keep fixing stuff they broke while fixing the first thing, or am I just really good at making one problem into two?
