We were at his place in Dayton watching the Browns game when he said it, and I wrote it on a napkin because it was so dumb. Back then 2GB was plenty for XP and some light gaming, but now I have 32GB in my work laptop and Chrome alone eats half of it. He was so sure the cloud would never take off either, said people would always want their files on a physical drive. I pulled up the napkin at a BBQ last month and he just laughed and said "well, I was wrong about that one." What old tech claim do you still hear from friends who refuse to update?
