Drew a dog at 2am that looked more like a potato with legs

I was at my kitchen table around 2am last week, half asleep but wanted to draw something. The dog I attempted turned into a lumpy potato shape with stick legs and one giant eye. I just laughed and added a caption that said "my spirit animal" and posted it anyway. A few people in the group actually said it was their favorite thing they'd seen all week. Has anyone else had a drawing turn into something completely different than what you planned?

Ever tried turning a bad sketch into a comic strip? I just add a speech bubble with some dumb line and suddenly it's "art.

You ever try drawing a horse and end up with something that looks like a camel with a broken back? That's happened to me more times than I can count. Best thing to do is just lean into it and add a silly backstory. Like if it looks like a potato dog maybe say it's a rare breed from Idaho that barks in cursive. People love that stuff.
