Warning: my last auto transport quote jumped $280 in three days, and here's why
I requested quotes from five brokers on a Monday for a Tucson to Portland run and the cheapest was $940, then the same exact route hit $1,220 by Thursday because two carriers pulled out and everyone was scrambling for space. Anyone else seen prices swing that hard on a short notice move, or did I just get unlucky with timing?
