Pro tip: ask the dispatcher for the pickup address before you agree to a quote
Booked a transport from Phoenix to Portland last week and the first two quotes were about $300 cheaper than the rest. Turns out both were priced from a terminal 40 miles outside the city, so I would have paid extra to get my truck there myself. The third company gave me the actual street address of the pickup before I paid a dime, and the price held. Does anyone else ask for that upfront now, or am I being too paranoid?
