Can we talk about how we used to check on cars with a phone call and now it's all apps and texts?
Three years ago I moved a 1965 Impala from Phoenix to Portland. The dispatcher called me every step. Last week I moved a Civic and only got two texts the whole way. I kind of miss hearing a real voice say the car made it. Has anyone else noticed this?

Buddy of mine shipped his Tacoma from Denver to Austin last spring and the driver just sent him a thumbs up emoji when it got there. No name, no "hey your truck is safe," just a thumb. He said it felt like getting a package from a robot that barely cared.
