A dispatcher in Reno told me my bill of lading was missing a VIN digit, and it saved me a $600 headache
I called a dispatcher in Reno two weeks ago to set up a pickup for a Corolla going to Salt Lake City. She went through my paperwork line by line and caught that I had typed 8 digits instead of 17 on the VIN. She said most brokers would just push it through and let the driver get turned away at the gate. Took me about 90 seconds to fix it. How many of you actually double check every VIN before you send the BOL over?
