DIY pressure washing vs hiring a company, I wasted $200 before learning this

I rented a 3000 PSI machine from Home Depot in Decatur and tried to clean my driveway and patio myself. Took me 6 hours and I still had stripes everywhere because I didn't know you need to overlap passes and use the right nozzle angle. My neighbor paid $150 to a local crew and they finished in 45 minutes with a surface cleaner attachment I didn't even know existed. Has anyone else dropped money on rental equipment only to wish they'd called a pro in Marietta first?
