Changed my mind about pressure washing my own driveway

Honestly, I used to rent a 3000 PSI machine from Home Depot every spring and blast everything in sight. Then last August my neighbor in Decatur let me borrow his 1800 PSI electric model with a surface cleaner attachment. Took a bit longer but zero etched concrete and no torn up siding, so I sold my rental habit for good. Anyone else downgrade their pressure washing setup after a mishap?
