Why does everyone crop the moon out of wide field shots?
I shot the Milky Way over Lake Tahoe last Tuesday and got the moon in frame on purpose, and my local club said it ruined the shot. But the thin crescent against the dark sky next to the core looked better than any clean wide field I've done. Anyone else leave the moon in and like it better?
