Spent $8 on a cheap phone stand for my kitchen counter and it saved my bacon
Last month I grabbed a $8 plastic phone stand from the checkout aisle at Target just to prop up my phone while following recipes, and that tiny thing kept me from burning dinner three times now. My old setup was balancing the phone on a cereal box and I splashed sauce on it twice, so the stand paid for itself fast. Does anyone have a cheap kitchen gadget under $10 that actually turned out to be worth it?
That eight bucks did way more than a fancy gadget ever would, so good call there. My own cheap win was a $5 silicone spoon rest that stopped me from wiping tomato sauce off the counter every single night. Small stuff you barely think about tends to be the stuff you actually use, right?
