Heard a guy at the auto parts store in Reno say he never trusts a torque spec from a forum, made me rethink how I answer questions
Last week I was in line at a NAPA in Reno and the guy ahead of me told the clerk he ignores any torque number he reads online unless it's from the factory manual. I've been giving people advice on car stuff for a while now and it hit me that I do the same thing without saying it out loud. So my question is, when you ask something online, how do you decide which answers are actually worth trusting?
