My neighbor on N Quincy St saved me from a $340 mistake at the county clerk's office
My neighbor saw me carrying a folder of paperwork to my car last Tuesday and asked what I was up to. I said I was heading to the county clerk to pay to file something myself. She laughed and said she made that exact drive 3 years ago and it cost her $340 because she missed one form that a free county office would have walked her through. I went to the office she named on Clarendon Blvd instead and they handled it in 20 minutes for nothing. Has anyone else had a neighbor save them from a dumb errand like that?
