So who actually replaces capacitor clamps instead of just zip tying them?

Tbh I've been in this trade for about 7 years and I only recently started carrying proper capacitor clamps in my van. Before that I'd zip tie the new cap to the bracket and call it a day, every single time. Last month in Columbus I had a callback on a condenser unit where the zip tie melted through and the cap dropped onto the contactor, shorted the whole board. The homeowner asked me why the factory clamp was missing and I had no good answer. Now I'm wondering, how many of you actually swap the clamp on every cap replacement, or is it a cost thing where you just don't bother? Does the brand of cap even matter for clamp fit, or is it pretty universal?
