My grandpa's 1978 Radio Shack answering machine still picks up his calls
I was at my grandpa's house in Toledo last weekend and heard his old Radio Shack answering machine click on when he stepped out to the garage. That thing has been recording messages on microcassettes since 1978 and the tape still sounds clearer than my voicemail. Does anyone else still have family members running gear that old, and do you try to keep it alive or just let it go?
