Heard a guy at the Dayton hamfest say his 1987 Tandy still runs his whole shop, and it got me worried about my backups
I've got 30 years of files on a PATA drive from 1998 and I've never once tested if it still spins up. Anyone here actually run a check on drives that old, or do you just wait for the click of death?
