My tile guy told me to stop back buttering every single piece and I argued with him for 20 minutes
I was doing a bathroom floor in my house near Eubank and Indian School and I was back buttering every 12x24 tile out of habit. My tile guy watched me for a bit and finally said "you're just making a mess, those are flat enough, save your thinset." I checked with a level and he was right, only like 3 tiles in the whole room actually needed it, so now I only do it when the tile or slab is warped. Anyone else had a pro call out something you were doing just because you saw it on YouTube?
