Vent: 4 years of putting keypads next to light switches, and a customer's kid finally showed me why it's a problem
Had a family in Tulsa move in and their 6 year old kept setting off the alarm every morning because his hand found the keypad before the switch in the dark. I started mounting panels at 48 inches on the hinge side after that, and callbacks on false alarms dropped off a cliff. Anybody got a height or spot they swear by that I should be trying instead?
