That one time a ceiling mount saved the day (and sparked a debate)
I finally fixed a tricky false alarm by moving a motion sensor to the ceiling instead of the wall. This has me debating if ceiling mounts are always better for avoiding issues (like pets or fans), or if wall mounts are just easier to work with later on. What do you all think is the smarter move in most homes?

You mentioned ceiling mounts avoiding issues like pets. I read that placing sensors high up really cuts down on false alarms from animals. But wall mounts are often easier to service when the battery dies.
