Serious question: Has anyone compared parchment paper vs foil liners in their air fryer?

I used foil for two months. Then my neighbor dropped off some parchment liners. First batch of chicken wings came out way crispier on the bottom. The foil was trapping grease and making things soggy underneath. Plus the parchment cleanup is faster. No scraping. Anyone else notice a big difference or was it just my model?

Does the foil just like... marinate the grease back into the food or something?

Had a buddy who swore by foil until his wings came out looking like they were deep fried in sadness, switched to parchment and never looked back.
