My air fryer caught fire at a family reunion last month and now I'm scared to use it

I was cooking frozen chicken tenders for 12 people at my sister's backyard BBQ in Phoenix when suddenly smoke started pouring out and I opened it to find the paper liner completely charred and smoldering, has anyone else had a liner go up like that or did I just buy the wrong kind?
