Yeah that "planned our whole quarter around one" hits hard. What saved us was having a solid backup plan ready to go when things got pushed.

Our Q3 roadmap looked like a fantasy football draft after the main AI API we needed got delayed. We had to pivot so fast it gave the project manager whiplash. Now we just assume every launch date is pure fiction.

solid backup plan" sounds so official. Is it really worth all the stress to plan your whole thing around a tool that isn't even out yet? Seems like a lot of extra work to freak out about.
