Went to the mall in Boise for new shoes and got wrecked by an ad for the pretzel stand on the wall by the bathrooms
I was at the Towne Square mall in Boise on Saturday killing time while my wife looked at candles, and I walked past this light up ad board near the restrooms for a pretzel place two stores down. The thing showed a giant salted pretzel with steam coming off it and the words "warm, salty, 30 seconds away" right under it. I'm not even hungry (I had lunch like an hour before) and I still turned around and bought one, which is honestly the first time I can remember purposely clicking on a real life ad. What got me was how specific it was, it didn't try to sell me on the brand or a deal, it just told me where food was and how close it was, and my feet just went. I ended up standing there eating a whole pretzel by myself while my wife texted asking where I went. Now every time we go to that mall I check that same board like an idiot, just to see what they'll put up next. Has anyone else gotten got by one of those mall signs, or is it just me and my weak will around salt?
