That paint spill on the highway ramp near downtown last week wasn't an accident

Has anyone else had to clean up something that was passed off as 'art' but was really just laziness?

Oh man, I heard something about this on the local news last week. They were talking about that paint spill and some folks online were saying it was supposed to be a 'performance piece' about urban decay or something? But come on, it just looked like someone dropped a bucket of paint and walked away. Reminds me of when my neighbor's kid called a pile of old tires in the backyard 'modern sculpture' to get out of cleaning it up. Sometimes people just slap a fancy word on a mess and call it done. I bet that paint on the ramp was just someone in a hurry who didn't want to admit they made a mistake.

Wait, wait, wait. Back up. Did you just say he tried to pass off a pile of old tires as modern sculpture? That is next level. (I am laughing so hard right now I almost choked on my coffee.) My cousin once glued trash to a canvas and called it "consumerism critique," but tires in the yard is a whole other planet of boldness. I have to know, did the kid actually get away with it? Like, did the neighbor look at that pile and go "huh, interesting" or did they see right through it? Honestly that kind of confidence is almost impressive, even if it is totally ridiculous.
