Showerthought: I used to try to arrange my spice rack, now I just let the turmeric dust do its thing after 2 weeks
My cinnamon and paprika have been slowly mixing into this orange brown swirl on the shelf for 2 weeks, and my roommate said it looks like a desert sunset, so now I refuse to wipe it up, has anyone else accidentally made art from being a lazy cook?

Wait, does it actually look good though? Tbh I feel like turmeric stains everything it touches and never comes off, so calling it art is a nice way to spin being too lazy to clean. I wiped mine up after like a month because the mix of cumin and chili powder just looked like dirt to me. If your roommate sees a desert sunset in it, keep it, but I'd still put a plate under the jars so you don't end up scrubbing orange off the shelf forever.
