A guy at the Cleveland print shop told me my photos were too centered, now I frame stuff half off the edge
I brought in 30 rolls from a trip to Lake Erie and the owner asked why every shot had the horizon dead in the middle. He said 'let it fall where it wants' and showed me how the dock ropes at the marina made a line across the bottom third. Now I look for weird off-center patterns in puddles and fences, has anyone else had a small comment like that change how they see things?
