My uncle in Dayton kept a Geocities fan page for his bowling league and it's still up in 2024
He started it in 1999, complete with a spinning ball GIF and 14 pages of frame-by-frame scores that stop in 2007. I was over at his place for a cookout last month and he pulled it up on his phone, still using the same Tripod URL, and the guestbook has one entry from a guy named Darrell in 2011. It made me realize these little personal sites are disappearing faster than anyone talks about. How do you all go about archiving stuff like this, do you save the raw HTML or grab screenshots too?
